SNAPS photography show Thursday

Published on May 28, 2014

Christine Whelan and David Hachey, founding members of the Scotsburn-Northumberland Amateur Photography Society, hang some photos in the lobby of the deCoste Entertainment Centre in preparation for the club's first show Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Photos from some of the club's 80 members will be on display until June 25 at the deCoste.

Thursday's show is open to the public and free of charge. Snacks and a cash bar will be available.

SNAPS meets the first Wednesday of each month at Northumberland Regional High School featuring guest speakers on photography in addition to taking field trips once a month.

A field trip is planned for Sherbrooke Village in June which will end its season until the fall.  New members are always welcome and more information can be found on the group's Facebook page.
