HEY THERE… IT'S ME KATHY by Kathy Golemiec

How was your week? Mine was the usual up and down like the weather, one day great and warm and the next cold and awful. The way the weather is going we don't know if spring is coming or autumn, we will just have to wait and see what happens.

It wasn't too bad a week for me. Vicky and I went to the show this week to see A Bad Moms Christmas – there were more commercials than there was movie. The one we saw last week was so good and so funny, Daddy's Home 2. That was really worth seeing – everyone came out of the show laughing. That's not the way it was last night.

I had my chemo this week and everything went well. I had to start over with the starting dose, which is given over a longer time to make sure it doesn't go in too fast. The next time next month it can go in faster.

I went to the flea market this week. Dad and Janet and Betty and Carol came to help, but the market was slow this week.

Thunder gets his stitches out today. He is not going to be too happy about that. But he has done great through the whole thing.

Christmas is sneaking up on me fast. I hate wrapping gifts. I like the bags – just put the gift in, throw in some paper and fold tape down and done.

Everyone's children are getting excited. Wait until the snow starts flying, they are going to be so excited they will not be able to contain their excitement.

Also we have to watch for the elderly people. Their worst enemy, if they fall, they don't just get an ‘ohhhhh, that hurt,’ they usually get a bad break and they are laid up in bed for weeks or months.

My brother got to meet my granddaughter this week. With his work he had to go to B.C., woohoo.

Make sure you remember to moisturize – the cold weather is here so we really need to stay moisturized.

I am having very bad headaches when I wake up in the morning, hopefully they will go away soon

Pain level this week is 6.

Have a good week folks and, yes, everyone is finding it cold.
