New Glasgow’s Thrift Store holding grand reopening

NEW GLASGOW – The Salvation Army Community Services Centre & Thrift Store located at 134 James St., New Glasgow, has a fresh new look.

“We have made improvements to our Centre and Thrift Store making it more welcoming for our community and customers,” says Dion Durdle. “We are grateful to the people of Pictou County for their donations and for their patronage; revenue from our Thrift Store helps us provide clothing, furniture, and household items to those in our community who need it most.”

To commemorate the revitalized centre, a Grand Reopening Ceremony will take place this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army along with other organizational representatives will be in attendance.

All are welcome to attend the reopening. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a special discount for the grand opening day.
