Remembrance Day service for county set for Sunday afternoon
The News
PICTOU – The Pictou County Remembrance Day service takes place this Sunday in the Shiretown.
The actual service begins at 2:30 p.m. at the cenotaph and this year's guest speaker is Vincent Joyce, president and curator of the Pictou County Military Museum in Westville.
Royal Canadian Legion Zone 6 president John Rogers said the parade will form up at
2 p.m. on George Street and march to the cenotaph at 2:15 p.m.
