MERIGOMISH – Doris Mason and gypsy jazz band Mishra’s Dream will volunteer their talents to fundraise for the Acadian Forest.
The Friends of Redtail Society have until the end of the year to find money to preserve 313 acres of woodland near Scotsburn. To learn more visit: www.friendsofredtail.ca.
Also featured in the Nov. 14 concert is the Lismore choir the Oceanayers conducted by Vivi Chediac, Kevin Murdock, Allison Stewart and Marylyn MacDonald, Maria Buck and Vickie MacDonald. Guest speaker for the Friends of Redtail Society is Bill MacDonald.
Concert begins at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served during intermission. Admission: $15 seniors, $10 students.
