STELLARTON – Paramedics and police responded to a collision between a cyclist and a van yesterday afternoon.
Detective Sgt. Paul Pentz, who was at the scene of the collision, said the cyclist was travelling north towards New Glasgow on Stellarton Road on the sidewalk, while a van was exiting Campbell’s Lane onto the road.
“She didn’t see him,” he said.
“There will be a follow-up, but I don’t think there will be any charges laid at this point.”
The cyclist was treated by paramedics on scene and escaped the collision with some bruising.
