If you haven’t yet had the chance to see the popular and perpetually sold out spectacle that is Pictou County Pop Classics, you have one more chance coming up soon.

Pop Classics will be performing Aug. 4 in New Glasgow for the opening night of the Riverfront Jubilee. The show will also be the group’s final multi-set performance of 2017.

Creative director and producer Michael Vienneau says the cast is incredibly excited to be part of the Jubilee.

“The open air setting will give fans the chance to dance and sing along with us under the stars, something that hasn’t been possible in the theatre settings we’ve performed in to now.”

The performance will feature sets from both the 1960s and ’70s and include a large contingent of the Pictou County cover artists who have become household names as Pop Classics grew in popularity with every show over the last two years.

Tickets are on sale now at jubilee.ns.ca.
