Accused in robbery seeking new lawyer

PICTOU – A Pictou County man accused of robbing the Glasgow Pub has been given time to find a new lawyer.

Shawn Michael Bonvie, 36, charged with robbing the pub with violence, made a brief court appearance Monday to inform the judge that he wanted a new lawyer. The court agreed put his next appearance over for a month.

Bonvie is also charged with confinement and uttering threats from an alleged incident in New Glasgow on Oct. 12, 2017.
