New Glasgow Academy will be holding its annual auction on Thursday. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the live auction starting at 6:30 p.m. There are approximately 50 live items and between 60 and 70 items up for bid in the silent auction. Goods include everything from an autographed Crushers jersey to an adventure package for P.E.I. The money raised will go to New Glasgow Home and School and will be used for such things as upgrading technology to helping cover the cost of a turkey dinner held for the whole school.
