Central Nova MP Sean Fraser is opening three new satellite office locations for his constituents starting May 11.

People can meet with his staff at the Musquodoboit Family Resource Centre at 12280 Hwy 24 on the second Friday of each month, the Musquodoboit Harbour Library at 7900 Hwy 7 on the third Friday of the month and the Sheet Harbour Chamber of Commerce at 22404 Hwy 7 on the fourth Friday of the month. Fraser’s staff will be available at all three locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“I am very sensitive to the challenges that a sprawling rural riding brings, and I am committed to representing constituents to the best of my ability, no matter where they are located. Providing accessible, and consistent access to constituents is a service I’m very pleased to offer,” said Fraser in a release Thursday.

The three new satellite office locations will in addition to Fraser’s main offices in New Glasgow at 115 MacLean St. and Antigonish at 155 Main St. The MP will continue to make himself available on request throughout his whole riding.

“In the summer of 2016 we were pleased to offer 14 travelling clinics throughout the riding,” said Fraser. “Now, we’re looking forward to providing consistent times and locations in these three areas.”

Constituency staff will be available to answer any questions constituents may have, as well as discuss ideas or concerns in the community.

For constituents who need assistance with casework involving federal programs including but not limited to, CPP/Disability, EI, OAS, or Canada Student Loans, it is suggested they bring any pertinent documentation they may have.

Constituents will be required to fill out authorization forms, which will be available at each location.

All locations are accessible and private space is also available for meetings. Constituents can make appointments by calling 1-844-641-5886, emailing [email protected], or by walking in to make an appointment.

In the event of a cancellation, notice will be posted to MP Fraser’s website, Facebook page, and notification sent to the affected office location.
