A lucky guess for an online contest has led to two families helping one other in the county.

Rachel Forward recently participated in a Baby Boss contest through Graham’s Glass and Exteriors Facebook page that required her to guess how much change was in a dish.

The Abercrombie resident guessed the correct amount of $89.42 and was named the lucky winner by Kaisaac Hayden, son of business owner Graham Hayden.

Forward suggested the prize money be used to purchase gifts for a family in the county in need and Graham said his company would match the donation.

A family of three in need of assistance this holiday season was located and not only did the business and the Forwards purchase gifts, but also bought them a turkey dinner.
