PICTOU – Town council says it will consider a proposal by a local businessman on changes for Veterans Drive if it decides to make changes before the year deadline.
A Veterans Drive resident asked council Monday if it considered Partners Construction proposal to erect stop signs at an intersection or pay for speed bumps on the street rather than having a section of the road one-way.
Pictou Mayor Jim Ryan said the information was taken into consideration and if council decides to relook at Veterans Drive before a year’s time, it take another look.
Council did not indicate if or when it planned to revisit the issues surrounding Veterans Drive in the near future.
