GLACE BAY — Cape Breton Regional Police say the body of a 60-year-old man was found in a Glace Bay snowbank this morning.

The body was discovered just off of Cadegan Drive in Glace Bay at about 8:55 a.m.

“One of the neighbours noticed a male in a snowbank and notified dispatch,” said Staff Sgt. Reg Hutchings of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service.

"As a result of this he was transported by EHS to the Glace Bay Hospital."

Hutchings said it is believed at this time foul play is not involved, however the investigation is continuing by officers from East division, major crime and Ident sections.

Officers were canvassing the street talking to neighbours. Police confirm that the deceased was from the area.
