Westville police officer charged with assault, uttering threat

A Westville police officer has been charged with uttering threats and assault.
Anthony Chisholm will appear in court in February on the matter.

Westville Police Chief Don Hussher referred questions about the actual investigation to the RCMP who are handling the case. He said, however, that Chisholm has been suspended with pay while the matter is reviewed.

RCMP Sgt. Kevin Dunlevy confirmed the name and charges were correct. He said no one was seriously injured in the incident.
