TONEY RIVER - It's lobster trap setting day in Pictou County.

More than 20 people turned out for the annual parade of sail in Toney River this morning to kick off the 2014 lobster fishing season.

It is a tradition for many in the area to go to the wharf early on trap setting day to watch the boats loaded with traps and workers as they sail out for the start of the season.
