Small B.C. community in mourning after four found dead in rural home
ASHCROFT, B.C. — A remote community in British Columbia's Interior is in mourning after police found four people dead in a home.
A 40-year-old Westville man who pleaded not guilty to multiple charges will have a bail hearing Thursday.
Jason Earl Crowther is charged with assault causing bodily harm, operating a motor vehicle dangerous to the public, possession of a weapon, damaging property valued at more than $5000, uttering threats to cause bodily harm to a police officer and assaulting a police officer with a weapon.
A trial date is expected to be set Thursday as well.
