These members of the ENACTUS organization at the NSCC campus in Stellarton work on the base of a garden bed at Roots House in New Glasgow on Thursday.

The group built a similar bed last year, which was maintained by some of the young people who access the Roots for Youth program. The ENACTUS group recently won a Scotiabank Youth Empowerment Award at a regional competition for the flowed bed they built in 2016 at Roots House (as seen in background) and will travel to Vancouver for nationals early in May.
