New Glasgow Regional Police hosting open house for Police Week

New Glasgow Regional Police Const. Ken MacDonald prepares department’s cougar for an open house Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Glasgow department.

The public will be able to take in various police displays, get a close up look at the cougar and Department of Natural Resources helicopter at an open house hosted by the New Glasgow Regoinal Police on Friday.

There will also be displayers from ground search and rescue as well as the Truro Police Service during the event which goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Local school children are invited to the second annual event that is being hosted in honour of National Police Week which runs from May 14-20.
