Man airlifted to Halifax hospital after New Glasgow collision
NEW GLASGOW - A 26-year-old man in critical condition was airlifted to Halifax on Friday after a three-vehicle collision in New Glasgow.
Emergency responders on scene at Park Falls
The body of a 19-year-old man was found in Park Falls around 9 p.m. Friday night.
An RCMP release stated that at 3:36 p.m. Friday, at Park Falls, a popular swimming location, the Pictou County District RCMP responded to a 911 call of a man jumping into the water and not returning to the surface.
The Pictou County District RCMP were on scene, assisting are the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, Thorburn and New Glasgow Fire Departments and EHS. The RCMP are asking the public not to attend the scene.
