36-year-old arrested for robbing Stellarton pharmacy

Stellarton Police have arrested a 36-year-old man in relation to an armed robbery that took place at approx. 7:51 pm Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Medical hall Pharmasave on Foord Street. At the time a lone male entered the store and produced a firearm. He demanded drugs. The clerk complied with the request and the suspect left the store with a small amount of drugs.

The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in court Tuesday Sept. 4. The man has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, using a firearm during the commission of an offence and carrying a concealed weapon.
