PICTOU – Trenton woman who underwent a psychiatric assessment to determine if she is fit to stand trial is getting a second opinion.

Lacie Jillian Frazee, 26, is charged with three counts of damaging property by fire in relation to an alleged incident on Jan. 23 in Trenton.

She had a psychiatric assessment done to determine if she is fit to stand trial and if she was criminally responsible at the time of the alleged offence.

Defence lawyer Stephen Robertson said he received the report from the East Coast Forensic Hospital and has received permission from his client to pursue a second opinion. He did not comment on what was in the original report.

The court agreed to the adjournment and set her next provincial court appearance for April 30. She will continue to be remanded into custody until this time.
