PICTOU – Three people accused of committing a home invasion in Priestville have had their cases adjourned until Sept. 2.

Forrest Bruce MacDonald, 23, is charged with breaking and entering into a home in Priestville and committing the indictable offence of mischief on April 26.

Two other people, Charity Ann Chappell, 28, of no fixed address and Tyler Lawrence Chislett, 23, of Trenton are also charged with the same offence. Chappell also faces a charge of assault while Chislett has a single count of uttering threats.  

All three people made a brief court appearance in Pictou Provincial Court Monday and were released until their next court date.
