Armed robber steals drugs from Stellarton pharmacy

STELLARTON – Stellarton Police are investigating an armed robbery at a downtown drugstore.

The robbery happened at 7:51 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Medical Hall Pharmasave on Foord Street.

Police say a lone male suspect entered the store, produced a firearm and demanded drugs. Police say the clerk complied with the request and the suspect left the store with a small quantity of drugs.

The suspect is a black male, approximately 5ft. 10 inches to 6 ft. tall, dressed in black hoodie pull-over sweater, blue jeans, black sneakers with white decals, black ball hat with “Coors Light” logo on front and white-rimmed sunglasses. The suspect was carrying a small, black backpack.
