These sessions take place the last Sunday of every month. This session will be bitter sweet as they gather for a benefit to assist the founding member of the group who is facing serious medical issues at this time. Traditional musician, Chester Story began inviting a handful of musicians over twenty years ago and from this first session many musicians have gathered monthly over the years to play traditional music for sheer enjoyment. The Dock Gang has entertained at countless fundraisers throughout Pictou County. Organizers are encouraging people to come out and support one of their own.
