The public is invited to attend and share suggestions on the organizations 2017 regional guides and other marketing initiatives.

Meetings will be held:

Nov. 8: Guysborough at the Municipal office 2-4 p.m.

Nov.  8: Antigonish Municipal office 6-8 p.m.

Nov. 10: Sherbrooke at the Municipal office 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Nov. 15: Musquodoboit Valley at Gowan Brae B&B 10 a.m.- noon.

Nov. 15: Pictou County at the DEANS office 2-4 p.m.

Nov. 17: Sheet Harbour at Henley House Pub & Restaurant 1-3 p.m.

Nov. 23: Lake Charlotte at Memory Lane Heritage Village 10 a.m.- noon.

In 2023, Aberdeen had 22 emergency visits due to overdoses, the Colchester-East Hants Health Centre had 72 and the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre had 56. According to Dr. Janet Sommers, the number of hospitalizations due to drug overdoses hasn't changed dramatically, but the drugs being used has changed.
