First responders have been called to an accident on the Trans-Canada 104 near exit 20 in Pleasant Valley, Pictou County.

According to preliminary information, one car travelling west left the road with two people in the car.

At least one person was taken to hospital by ambulance. Injuries are unknown at this point.

Highway 104 is closed between exits 19 and 20 and traffic is being diverted to Highway 4, the RCMP says.
