The Merigomish Family Fun Fest held a full slate of activities Saturday at the Merigomish Schoolhouse well as cardboard boat races from the nearby wharf.  Crystal Pitts led the for the pet parade at the fun fest that included some real and not-so-real entries.   Canadian musical artist Lennie Gallant will be returning to Merigomish for the third year in a row on Aug. 18 to perform at the schoolhouse.   Showtime is 8 p.m. and advance tickets are $30 each.
