Halifax police arrest man after shots fired at home in Eastern Passage

Police say a 24-year-old man has been arrested after shots were fired at a home and vehicle in Eastern Passage.

The RCMP were called about the gunfire around 3 a.m. Saturday in the Cedar Lane subdivision.  

Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response team and a HRP K9 service dog helped locate the suspect, who was able to flee from officers, inside a residence on nearby Pine Street.

No one was injured.

There’s no word on charges as police continue to investigate.
