Large sum of money found in New Glasgow still unclaimed

NEW GLASGOW – No one has yet claimed a large sum of money found in New Glasgow before Christmas.

Police say that someone contacted the department after finding a large sum of money on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 21, on the west side of New Glasgow and immediately turned it in.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) who may have lost the money. Police are asking the public to share this message through social media in trying to locate the owners.

The owner is asked to contact New Glasgow Regional Police at (902) 759-7277.
