NEW GLASGOW – A New Glasgow man will be back in court next month to answer to a drug charge.
Mark Gordon Firth, 41, was charged Feb. 3 with possessing under 30 grams of marijuana.
Firth appeared in New Glasgow Provincial Court Monday, where federal Crown Ed Patterson told the court an outside Crown attorney would have to be brought in to deal with the matter due to a practical conflict of interest.
“We do have charge approval and it is going forward on some basis,” Patterson told the court. “They’ll make a determination on how.”
Firth will enter pleas on April 12.
