STELLARTON
A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries during a home invasion at a multi-dwelling building on MacKay Street in Stellarton.

Stellarton police is investigating the home invasion which occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police are releasing few details about the home invasion, but say two white male suspects are believed to have fled the area.

Police were on scene at the home Thursday morning and markers were set up near what appeared to be blood stains which went from a multi-dwelling building on MacKay Street to the neighbouring house.

Stellarton Police Chief Don Hussher said that police received the call about the invasion around 2:30 a.m. from the hospital.

He said they aren’t able to release any other information at this time, but are continuing to investigate.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to call the Stellarton police at 902-752-6160.
