NSCAD grad Curtis Botham has been busy putting his artistic talents to work at the Museum of Industry this week in preparation for the museum’s March Break activities which will run from March 10-March 18.
The theme this year is “Once Upon a Castle,” and kids are being invited to join in for a medieval adventure. Kids will be able to build castle walls with wooden blocks and then knock them down with a catapult. They can also dress in royal garb and act out a medieval skit.
Other activities include a dungeon maze, jousting and a quest for treasure through the museum’s galleries. A special guest during the week will be Thor, a Bearded Dragon Lizard who lives in a castle. The Museum will be open form 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
