Market Square improvements underway

Phase one of a project to improve Market Square in Pictou is underway. The square will see new walkways and landscaping as well as benches that will be placed in the area. The stone monuments that were placed near Water Street were relocated on the site.  The improvements are being done through a partnership between the Pictou Garden Club and the Town of Pictou.  Here, from the left: Jared Stanley and Chris Smardon of  Victory Gardens work on the landscaping at the square.
