New Glasgow Regional Police investigate a suspicious fire on Skylark Street

New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious fire.

On Tuesday, Jan. 30 at approximately 6:30 p.m. New Glasgow Fire Department assisted by New Glasgow Regional Police and Emergency Health Service responded to a fire at a residence on Skylark Street, Greens Trailer Court, New Glasgow.

The mobile home was completely destroyed.

An adult male suffered non- life threatening injuries and was treated on scene and later released. No other injuries were reported.

The preliminary investigation of the fire indicates it was suspicious.

New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance if they have any information on this incident.
