Winning nominees will be recognized during the annual Bright Business Conference and Awards in October. The event marks the fifth year of recognizing energy efficiency excellence.
Winners are industry leaders who inspire others to think and act differently when it comes to energy at work and at home. Past winners include Truro Nissan, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Oxford Frozen Foods, and the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation.
“Every year, many Nova Scotian businesses and organizations become more profitable and competitive through energy efficiency,” said Monica MacLean, spokesperson for Efficiency Nova Scotia. “The Bright Business Awards highlight these stories and inspire others to take action.”
Nominations will be accepted until Aug. 19, and can be submitted online at efficiencyns.ca/brightbusiness in any of the following five categories: community, engagement, innovation, partnership or leadership.
