The Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, in partnership with New Glasgow Regional Police, seized a quantity of cannabis marijuana, cannabis derivatives and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized from a business on East River Road at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
A 33-year-old Little Harbour man and 31-year-old Mount Uniacke man were arrested and both facing counts of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They will appear in Pictou provincial court at a later date.
