Pictou Academy Award Winners Class of 2018

From the Pictou United Church; Leigha MacDonald was awarded the Jean Dickson bursary and Thea Waller and John Musick were awarded the Dodson Family bursary.

From the Stella Maris Parish; Brennen Gormley was the recipient of the Catholic Women’s Bursary and the Father Gerald MacKenzie Council 8608 Knights of Columbus bursary.

Robbie Tetreault was awarded a Nova Scotia Teachers’ Union Bursary valued at $400.

Brady Kennedy has been offered an entrance scholarship to Acadia University total value $8,000.

Peyton Briand has been awarded a bursary from the Nova Scotia Freemasons New Caledonia Lodge for $1,500 and from Dalhousie University a renewable scholarship total value $20,000.

Erin MacMillan has been offered a scholarship from Mount Allison University total value $16,000. And from the University of New Brunswick, the Snodgrass Scholarship; total value $32,000.

Kylie McCormack has been offered an entrance scholarship and the Robert Shaw scholarship from St. Mary’s university total value $32,000.

Emma Ruiz has been awarded a bursary from the Nova Scotia Freemasons New Caledonia Lodge for $1,500. She has also been offered a scholarship from St. Thomas University.
