Pillowcase donation

Two hundred bright, beautiful pillowcases were delivered to the Aberdeen Hospital last week. They are the most recent donation to the Aberdeen Health Foundation from organizers Kay Desborough and Jane Williams and made by the hands of many volunteers who came together for a day of sewing and comradery in May at the Pictou United Church. The cases will replenish supplies in the Women and Children’s Unit. Kay and Jane were joined by Rev. Mary Beth Moriarity in delivering the cases to nurses Barb MacEachern and Kennedy Clark, and Michelle Ferris of the Aberdeen Health Foundation. L-R: Barb MacEachern, Mary Beth Moriarity, Jane Williams, Kay Desborough, Kennedy Clark, and Michelle Ferris.
