Police say woman intentionally crashed car into truck

Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred yesterday in Coalburn, Pictou County.

Shortly before 2 p.m. yesterday, Pictou County District RCMP were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Sherbrooke Rd. in Coalburn.  When police arrived at the scene they found two damaged vehicles, a car and a pickup truck. No one was injured in the collision, however a further investigation has revealed that the driver of the car had intentionally struck the pickup truck.   

Emma Michelle Halliday, 21, of Stellarton was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of breach of an undertaking. She has been remanded into custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court today (Thursday).
