Priestville home destroyed by fire

Fire destroyed a Priestville home early this morning. The Linacy Fire Department was called in at around 4 a.m. and when they arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames.

The Linacy Fire Department was called in at around 4 a.m. and arrived the home fully engulfed in flames.

 

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Linacy was assisted by the Thorburn and New Glasgow fire departments.

Linacy Chief Dale Pettipas said they are still investigating the cause of the fire. The home was being heated by a pellet stove.
