Votes can be cast votes most days at returning offices as part of the continuing voting initiative. Mobile polls, advance polls will be held and a new voting system has been introduced that will allow people to vote in their homes. If a person cannot get to a polling station or the returning office, they may vote by write-in ballot by obtaining and completing an application after an election has been called. Once the person’s application is approved, they will be given a write-in ballot. Voters can contact their returning office or Elections Nova Scotia for assistance.
