Pictou County RCMP are investing complaints of mischief after boat owners reported that fuel lines have been cut from the vessels.
Cpl. Ron Bryce with the Pictou County detachment said the fuel lines were cut on several boats recently moored at the Pictou Marina and fuel was drained from them. The investigation is continuing and video surveillance from the marina is being reviewed.
Police are asking all boat owners to make sure their vessels are locked while unattended and that all valuables are removed from sight, if possible.
