Karley Shaw of Elgin, Pictou County competed in the intermediate division of the draft horse junior cart class at the Pictou-North Colchester Exhibition.  She was accompanied by her father Justin and placed second in the event.

According to Dr. Janet Sommers, the number of hospitalizations due to drug overdoses hasn't changed dramatically, but the drugs being used has changed.
