Three youth have been arrested in connection to a fire at the former Highland Consolidated Middle School in Westville.
First responders were called to the blaze around 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, which was caused damage to the interior of the building.
Staff Sgt. Howard Dunbar said they had a police dog as well as their forensic identification section attend the scene.
On Friday two youth were arrested around 3:30 p.m. and a third later that evening. All are 16-years-old and will appear in court later this month to face charges of two counts of break and enter.
The former school building which is now vacant is owned by the Town of Westville and Westville CAO Kelly Rice said they will be cleaning up the damaged area.
