TRENTON – The 30th Annual Pictou County Senior’s Festival is set to go in Trenton this weekend.
Events kick off Thursday with Auction 45’s in the Trenton Rink at 7 p.m. followed by a full day of activities Friday that include bowling at 9 a.m. at the Heather Bowling Lanes, opening ceremonies at 11:30 a.m. in the Trenton rink. In the afternoon, events in the rink include the UCT barbecue, entertainment, bingo and cribbage.
On Saturday, there is a walk-a-about at 9 a.m. at Trenton rink as well as darts at the Steeltown Friendly Group at the same time. Starting at 10 a.m. in the rink, there will be entertainment, dinner, washer toss and the festival will end with a social and dance at 7 p.m.
