PICTOU – A Trenton woman has pleaded guilty to three counts of arson.

Lacie Jillian Frazee, 26, is charged with three counts of damaging property by fire in relation to an alleged incident on Jan. 23 in Trenton.

She had a psychiatric assessment done to determine if she was fit to stand trial and if she was criminally responsible at the time of the alleged offence.

Frazee had a psychiatric assessment done at the East Coast Forensic Hospital earlier this year and her lawyer suggested a second opinion was necessary, but Frazee decided instead to enter guilty pleas to all three charges in provincial court Monday.

Her sentencing will take place June 6 in Pictou. She has been remanded into custody until her next court appearance.
