UPDATE: Van runs into house in Trenton

TRENTON, N.S.  - A 78-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after his vehicle collided with a house on High Street in Trenton on Sunday night.

At 10:20 p.m. July 16, New Glasgow Regional Police were dispatched via 911 to the collision. The driver of the Toyota van was taken to the Aberdeen Hospital by Emergency Health Services. Three people were in the house at the time of the collision, but no one was hurt.

Trenton Fire Department was also on scene and both the Toyota van and the front of the residence suffered extensive damages.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
