Town Engineer Bob Funke said they’re working on a deal that would have Great Northern Timber Resources clear the land at no cost to the town in exchange for the biomass on it.
He said it works out perfectly for both parties.
If the town hadn’t had this option, a contractor would have to be hired to clear the land. Funke said the land is being cleared to make more lots.
“Watch us grow,” he said.
