PICTOU – A Westville man accused of multiple offences in Dartmouth will return to court there in December.

Michael Anthony Patterson, 28, will return to provincial court in Dartmouth on Dec. 21 on four counts of assault with a weapon, assaulting a police officer, using an imitation firearm during the commission of an offence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle while prohibited, resisting a police officer in the execution of his duties, possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, property damage and breach of recognizance.

The charges were laid in relation to alleged incidents in Dartmouth and Halifax on Nov. 15.

Stellarton and Westville police said last week Patterson could also be facing charges here in relation to alleged incidents that involved the theft of a truck and damage to property in Westville.

He will return to court in Pictou on Dec. 4 on unrelated charges.
