Emma Michelle Halliday, 21, of Stellarton was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of breach of an undertaking. She was remanded into custody until Thursday during which time she was granted bail. She will return to Pictou provincial court March 7 to enter pleas.

The charge is in relation to an alleged incident Tuesday when Pictou County District RCMP were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Sherbrooke Road in Coalburn. When police arrived at the scene they found two damaged vehicles: a car and a pickup truck. No one was injured in the collision, however, a further investigation alleges that the driver of the car had intentionally struck the pickup truck.
